Stoya is one of those captivating people who draws you in with her striking beauty and confidence, then holds you with her tenderness, strength, and insight. When I shipped her an Evgenia set years back, I didn't realize who I'd actually sold to until the pictures popped up on my Instagram feed. My jaw dropped... THE Stoya?
Stoya embraced my work early on and her vote of confidence is one that feels deeply special. She is probably most recognizable as a pornographer and model, but she's also a co-writer of the How to Do It column from Slate and an accomplished author in her own right. She also coaches for Best Self Psych, working with individuals to "work towards embodiment and expression of [their] authentic erotic [selves]." To say her resumé is expansive and diverse would be an understatement; it's the kind of impressive, multifaceted career that any creative would envy.
So imagine my excitement when she reached out to organize a shoot in Serbia with the wonderfully talented Maria Krugovaya. The end result is a dark, dreamlike exploration of the Olympe collection including the Bed Jacket, Swiss Waist, and Thong, with additional florals by Cao Flowers.
